John H. Kitchen is understood to have enlisted for service with the AOC on 12 December 1898, and was latterly discharged in 1920 after over 21 years’ service.

George Hall continued to serve in the Great War, his MIC showing service in Egypt from 29 August 1915, later being sent to Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 7 July 1919, at the Rank of W.O.1.

Samuel George Peters served during the Boer War and left ‘to England for discharge 28 February 1903’.

He was recalled for Great War service in Egypt, embarking on 22 November 1914.

John Gregory, a 20-year-old wheelwright from Retford in Nottinghamshire attested for the Lincolnshire Regiment on 28th June 1886. He transferred to the Army Reserve on 28th August 1895 and was recalled to Army Service on 26th December 1899 serving in the Army Ordnance Corps. He served in South Africa from 15th January 1900 until 25th June 1902 and was discharged ion termination of his period of engagement on 1st July 1902 having served for a total of 16 years and 6 days.
