I am attempting to find out more about Private Garman I have a QSA Medal with two bars OFS and cape Colony, named to: 2368 PTE W GARMAN NORFOLK REGT. I have checked the national Archives and had a go at looking at the medal rolls on this forum, without success. Could anyone assist in giving me some leads please?

Hello Bob
Welcome to the forum.
Private Garman 2368 medal roll for 3rd Battalion Norfolk regiment with the clasps you mentioned. Roll date 15th July 1901 Norvals Pont.
Pte Garman is also entitled to a 1901 date clasp. Medal roll dated January 17th 1903 Norwich. Also states 3rd Battalion. ( Both rolls on Ancestry)
Regards
Dave

Thanks Rob. do you happen to know if the 3rd Norfolks deployed as a unit or whether they provided individual reinforcements for other battalions?

I am not 100% on this but I think that volunteers from both 3 and 4 (Militia) Bn went as 3 Bn. The remainders went briefly as 4 Bn to Guernsey. In SA 3 Bn and the Norfolk Volunteer Service Companies were in support of 2 Bn.

I have nothing on Garman in 3 Norfolks.

Rob.
