After looking at David's picture, line 3 now looks to me like 'Greenfield Nr Oldham'. There appears to be a village named Greenfield near Oldham, now all part of greater Manchester.

Thank you for all your inputs thus far - quite an amazing array of results. I have gone back to the original sweepstake ticket and tried to "iron out the kinks" - I have also photographed the reverse of the ticket and, what does become very obvious is that the lady's name is Annie Buckley.

Please have another go with the new, hopefully improved, photos.

I'm guessing Annie didn't win the Irish Sweepstakes with this ticket, but what was she to my man John Buckley? Now to find that out!
