Yes, I was very surprised by the flexibility of preference bidding, Natalie expained it to me on the telephone quite a few years ago now, adding, "Well this is a small auction and I like everybody to get something!" as you say, unique and also very good for the buyer!

Do you guys know when the results will be made available?

You know the saying. "No News..". Expectation from the experienced and knowledgable Gents on this forum is that a provisional list will be posted 2 July RSA local time. I suspect that will be late in the day if it does happen so I am not waiting up (equilivent Australian EST), I don't have the sheep station riding on it so will presumably read about it on the 3rd July.

I am intrigued to know how many bidders where in on A62 and the frequency & pattern of bids by lot. Wonder if CC would disclose? Guess there is one way to find out.

Hopefully by 16H00 today 02/07/2012 SA time.

Well the prices realized are up and it looks as if I won the group that I placed a bid on. As there were no CP groups this time around I settled on a WW2 SAAF group to a chap who served for a while in Congela Durban with 35 Sqd.
