Oops a small typo in my last note ... on the back is dated 24/11/02

Hi Lynn......

No problem nothing really fishy with having the same picture I am sure that many copies were made..... Mine does not have a name on the back......

I have another photo of a member of Strathcona's Horse taken in SA and the letter that he sent his mother..... In the letter he states that he is sending 9 copies of the photo so that she can distribute them to members of the family.....

I pretty sure that being 5 members in the photo there would have been a fairly large number of the photo prints made......

Oh yes I should mention I found a military photo take of myself in a group in an antique store a couple of years ago that was taken in 1966.....

Does not look good to me either...… Mine is different colours and padded..... See further in this thread for some pictures...…

The photo of the 5 Canadians shows them wearing a padded badge....

I guessed as much chaps and my friend is sending it to me as a specimen not an original. It comes from the collection of the late Gordon Bickley. It was given to him by a well known South African chap who has lived in Australia for many a year.
