There are times when clicking on 'Thank you' at the base of the screen is inadequate. This is certainly one of those times!

I know there are collectors, myself included, who would be delighted to own just one medal to an unremarkable man involved in the Jameson Raid, and we will all be astounded by your collection! Once again, thank you for sharing with us.

I have to echo the previous comments; these are men I have read about over the years. To see their medals is simply outstanding!

Hi everybody
Thanks for all the thanks for showing items that I was fortunate in acquiring over a number of decades!
Next is a group to a Raider who was not so fortunate when he took on the Boers again

Somehow Charles Alfred Rhodes was reported as Charles Edward Rhodes at a very early stage after the Raid.
I an still waiting for the relevant archival photocopies from Ian Johnstone in Harare, but he has established without shadow of a doubt that C A Rhodes was the Raider

Hello Henk,
Rhodes was a member of C Troop in Dr Jamson's force and indeed was present on the raid with the rest during the brigandry, doubtless, Her Majesty, was, very unlikely to have been amused, in particular, if she had bought some shares in the company! :(
Regards Frank
