Longfield | M | | Captain | He was killed in action at Brakenlaagte, ORC, June 4th, 1901. He was 47 years of age, and was educated at Cheltenham, and joined the Imperial Yeomanry March 1901, with the rank of Lieutenant. He had previously served as a trooper and been granted a commission. His name was inscribed on the Eleanor Cross War Memorial erected at Cheltenham College.
