From the ILN, 5 May 1900.

An affair of outposts. SALH driving off the enemy's scouts and capturing a prisoner. This incident took place near Van Reenen's Pass.



SALH horse sports from 31 Mar 1900, the five furlongs scurry. Open to officers of the 3rd Mounted Brigade. The race was won by Captain Murray with Captain Stewart in second place.

Thank you Brett. I was pondering whether similar pages that collate unit information could be created for other units too? I find it useful if thee is one place to post information that I come across. The threads on the ILH and Cape Police are good examples of what I am envisioning.
