There were very few men of the 21st Lancers in the Boer War. This page lists 48. www.angloboerwar.com/unit-information/im...its/513-21st-lancers

I was wondering how many of them had been present in the charge at Omdurman?

My thought was provoked by this trio in the next Wellington Auction:

A Sudan and Boer War group of 3 to Private C. Clark, 21st Lancers. Queens Sudan Medal, named to 3635 Private C. Clark 21st Lancers. Queens South Africa Medal, three clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Transvaal and Kings South Africa Medal, two clasps, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902 (3635 PTE C. CLARKE. 21ST LCRS). Also entitled to a Khedives Sudan Medal, with no clasp. With copy papers and medal roll. (3) Good very fine
