Quite frankly, having attended the saleroom on both days, I have very fond memories, it was certainly a most memorable centenary and to actually be able to leave the capital with a handful of medals was simply a bonus, a lovely week.

That does sound like a great day.

It would be interesting to see how attending in person and bidding online affects people's bids.

All of the QSAs in the Thursday sale have an 'x' against the lot number which means an additional 5% is added to the hammer price. The effect of this is that a lot purchased for £100 will end up costing £129.

The last thing us colonials need is an ‘x’ beside any lot to make the purchase any more expensive mainly due to the exchange rate. I have been quiet on the purchases from the UK for that reason. Decisions, decisions, have ago at SPINK or wait for Nobles?

I remember a poster being available when I was at university entitled 'Decisions, decisions, decisions' showing a picture of a woman, a sports car and a bottle of wine (looking back it was a very sexist poster). I was thinking we should replace those images with three QSAs :)

I thought it had become unfashionable to exploit Colonials? What is the justification in this instance?
