Hi, I am researching the war service of a relative, Thomas Fullerton who died during the Boer war from Enteric/Typhoid in Jan 1902. This site is full of good information and I have found some of his information here, he was in the South African Lighthorse Regiment and born in 1867 (there is at least one other Thomas Fullerton). I am wanting to know where I find more detailed information, ideally his service file or at least original attestation paper. Could someone possibly point me in the right direction of where I could find that information?
Very much appreciated,

Wendy

Hello Wendy
Welcome to the forum

A little more information for you regarding T Fullerton for you research.

Personal effects details which provide his trade and there are details on his next of kin. I think the location mentioned is Bothas Hoek not Hock as stated in the Ancestry info.
It is also possible he may have served in the Johannesburg Mounted Rifles before the SALH.

Best wishes

Dave.....
