Adrian and Frank

Thank you both for all your help. I think I can get to the rolls myself now. I feel I'm only scratching the surface of the world of QSA's!

Any thoughts on how I might get an SA01 clasp?

Regards

Patrick

Patrick,

They are becoming harder to find however they do appear on Ebay from time to time. Perhaps also try a few of the well known medal dealers in the UK like Dixons medals, Liverpool medals etc.

Google British Medal Dealers and a whole heap will come up.

Adrian,

Thanks. I was planning to ebay the medal but now that I know more about the man I'm going to keep it and try to find a clasp.

Now that you have had an introduction to the complex world of the QSA Medal, I hope you will be intrigued enough to acquire more and so become a regular contributor to this forum.

As Adrian says, just go and have a good look around, original South Africa 1901 or still around, £15 or so should get you a typical example!
