I am trying to help a friend to research someone from his family tree and hope that someone can help.

Colin Cuthbert Baines born at sea 07/03/1873 died 30/07/1961 believed South Africa.

It is believed that he went to South Africa to fight in the Boer War and served with the Cape Police.

Then in WW1 he was Corporal 2014 South African Mounted Rifles, then Captain South African Forces.

Does anyone have a copy of the medal rolls for the Cape Police and wouldn't mind checking?

Does anyone know the name?
