The recent City Coinsd auction had a QSA to a J Blake of the SAC in one lot and, many pages further on, a SAP long service medal to the same name. The blurb mentioned that there was a chance that they could be to one and the same man but no research to verify this had been done.

The last of the original gamblers I took a shot at them both and won. To my joy the research has just come back proving that they are indeed to one James Blake with all the data corresponding.

It just goes to show that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...
