LOL, they certainly continue to rise ever upwards, It seems that it is actually cheaper to buy retail here in Great Britain, at least you don't have to add the commission and the excessive postage costs.

Sorry Frank, but that seems to be the going rate for a rare medal. This is the first I've recorded for sale in 2015. Two I recorded in 2014 were offered (sold?) for GBP895 and GBP1050.

If you have one or two stashed you could make a pretty penny ;)

There is something to what you say Frank.

Not sure of what I had won or not I entered the murky waters of ebay on Saturday night and, on a whim, picked up a Rifle Brigade QSA with 3 clasps for 112 GBP.

Cheap as chips I think the saying goes?

Regards

Hi all

There was me feeling down after not receiving any emails, but on looking at the preliminary results, I see I got 4 out of 6, great result seeing that I focus on the NFF

I got Lot 61 for what I believe must be another record price for a Natal QSA, but I am happy about it.

Well done to all, I put in 3 bids just on speculation and missed all 3. However there was nothing that jumped out at me this time so not dissapointed. Would have liked to have succeeded in lot 46 however I already have similar items in my collection so it would have been just a nice to have. I have a RoL/RoM combo to the ILH as well as a RoK/RoM combo both of which were acquired years ago, couldn't afford them now! Certainly pay a premium for rare medals now. Once again look forward to reading about your new items on the forum. I was surprised at 187, buttons, badges shoulder titles that sold at 4400.
