Mike,

The Rifles Museum Salisbury has a few Drewett's listed in the Militia Solder Search, including Hedley. I suspect you have different family members' medals. Do you have a link to this family?

Hi Ian.....

I rec'd these from the Grandson..... His wife was my God Mother.....

I re-checked them and the naming is as follows....

I think that an error had been made on the Star as far as the initials are concerned..

1. 1914 - 1915 STAR - 10771 SERGEANT H. T. DREWETT, WILTSHIRE REGIMENT
2. 1914 - 1918 WAR MEDAL - 10771 SERGEANT H. G. DREWETT, WILTSHIRE REGIMENT
3. INTERALLIED VICTORY MEDAL - 10771 SERGEANT H. G. DREWETT, WILTSHIRE REGIMENT

Mike,

I don't know if you've looked already, but the Museum also has the WW1 War Diary available.

I have a silver pocket watch with the following inscription:

Malmesbury’s Thanks
To
Private A. Parsloe
2nd V.B. Wiltshire Regt
For Active Service
In The
South African Campaign
1900-1

Does anyone have any details on Parsloe? I am presuming that he served with the Volunteer Service Company attached to the 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment.

Best wishes,

Justin
