Good morning
Medals and clasps are verified and correct, Masters is shown on WO100/240 page 225, the main roll of Cape Police District 1 and was issued on the 18th of May 1904.
Donohoe, Wiliam Jos (assume Joseph/Josiah etc) is on WO100/240 page 252, the main roll of Cape Police District 2, in addition he is shown crossed out on WO100/359 page 155, this is their KSA roll.
Any surviving papers are in your country! :(
Kind regards Frank

Hello Anthony,

The papers to Masters have survived but those to Donohoe have not. You are in luck, if you send me an email address I will send you a copy of Masters papers very shortly.

Cheers

Anthony,

William Masters attested into the CP on the 1st April 1901 aged 20 years. Born Manchester he was a Groom and Car man.

Awaiting email address.

Anthony,

Donohoe's single clasp QSA is verified in my Kimberley book. The only information I have on him is that he served in the CP dismounted branch (barrier & redoubt duties) during the siege.

Kind regards
David
