Not sure if this photo is in the public domain but it comes with the compliments of the Africana Research Library in Kimberley.

It is a list of officers present in Kimberley during the Siege - the names that correspond to the numbers are attached.

B488 QSA (1) DoK (Mr L. WHITHAM Post Office Corps);
Kimberley Star “a” Hallmarked Reverse engraved L. Whitham

Confirmed on roll Post and Telegraphs Corps. Only 75 medals to the Post and Telegraph corps
EF 11000

Last seen at Spink in April 2015.

Kimberly Star unnamed Hallmarked “a” with top and bottom ribbon suspenders.

Confirmed with copy of the Roll

DNW coincidentally are selling the Kimberley Star to Mr G F Cane who served in the Post Office Corps during the siege of Kimberley.
