Good morning Brett,
There is absolutely no possibility of there ever being a drought at The Lord Milner! :)

Frank,

Quite right, never a chance of a drought especially when they know that there will be some more mad and thirsty visitors form Durbs traveling the same road soon.

Brett,

Just a thought, perhaps the Southern KZN medal collectors society should plan a trip down to the Western Cape/Northern Cape at some point. A couple of days away with a roudy night in the pub at the Lord Milner thrown in. What do you think??

That is a great idea in theory, but since it is proving difficult to get participants together for a single afternoon, it may be impossible to organise a meeting spread over several days and involving travelling several thousand kilometres. I can see seasoned travellers like you, Brian and Mike (x2) coping with the kms, but I need to be excused. A morning-long visit to Maritzburg is now the limit of my endurance.

Regards
Brett

The grave yard is further down the road to Cape Town, over a rise in the road turning left. A Little farm gate and wander down the path. There is a memorial there to "England's greatest cricketer"
