There is an eBay seller who offers copy medals and clasps for the QSA and KSA. I will look out his address and post it here.

From the pictures, these replicas look reasonable and it would certainly be cheaper,that purchasing original medals. That said, in this situation I would be tempted to buy an original pair albeit named to someone else but they would increase in value over time and you would be preserving someone's heritage.

The thing that gets me is that 36 have been sold with 9 left over..... With this success I am sure that he will make some more.....

Thanks for the reply, yes I saw these on ebay, I think I might get the queens one, little disappointed the Kings medal has a clear COPY written on it.

The QSA to 186287 Ordinary Seaman H W Pannifer who served in HMS Powerful and died of disease at Ladysmith, 10 Mar 1900.

The QSA to named to 5972 Pte. J. Martin, Gordon Highrs:

There is no note about the QSA but the single clasp is verified on WO100/203p385 witha not saying 'To England' so he must have been time expired.
