THE IMPORTANT BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA COMPANY MEDAL WITH FOUR BARS IN A GROUP OF THREE TO LIEUTENANT E C TYNEDALE-BRISCOE, ROYAL NAVY, LATE PIONEERS,

Egypt (2) Suakin 1884, Tamaai (Mid. R.N. H.M.S. Euryalus)
BSACM 1890 (5) Mashonaland 1890, Matabeleland 1893, Rhodesia 1896, Mashonaland 1897 (Lt. Tyndale-Briscoe, E.C. - Pioneers)
QSA (1) DoL (Lieut. R.N. H.M.S. Powerful).

Only 10 people qualified for the 1890 medal with four bars, D R Forsyth in his roll states that of these ten only two claimed the medal Trooper Wheal whose medal is in the National Museum in Salisbury and Trooper Briscoe, the whereabouts of whose medal is unknown.

Certainly hard to find anything that even remotely comes close to Biscuit tins group.

I have been told that this group sold for 15,000 Pounds in 2014 at DNW......
