I have now managed to find Treloar on the Imperial Light Horse roll (mis-transcribed as "Ireloar").

This confirms that he received a commission.

Note in remarks column reads: Discharged 16.1.01. Now has com'n in C. in C's B. Gd.

There's a Cpl 230 William John Trelour Imperial Light Horse, perhaps he was commissioned?

It looks like 1928 but 1908 is more probable?



The text that i have cut off lists the clasps issued, DoM, OFS and SA01.

My gut feeling is 28; would it matter that "28 June 1908" was a Sunday and "28 June 1928" was a Thursday?

Would they work on a Sunday because that would rule out "1908" entirely.
