There is a W.J. Treloar listed as a Trooper, serving with the Commander-in-Chief's Bodyguard.
A note in the remarks column of the QSA roll states "on G.O.C. Staff".

27518 Trooper W.J. Treloar

I have now managed to find Treloar on the Imperial Light Horse roll (mis-transcribed as "Ireloar").

This confirms that he received a commission.

Note in remarks column reads: Discharged 16.1.01. Now has com'n in C. in C's B. Gd.

230 Corporal William John Treloar, 1st Imperial Light Horse

Can I have a second opinion on the date of issue please?

It looks like 1928 but 1908 is more probable?

The text that i have cut off lists the clasps issued, DoM, OFS and SA01.

Hi David,

My gut feeling is 28; would it matter that "28 June 1908" was a Sunday and "28 June 1928" was a Thursday?

Would they work on a Sunday because that would rule out "1908" entirely.

Regards,
Sturgy
