Orens's altogether more sympathetic commemoration of the Boer Generals' 1902 visit to Europe.

This set by Orens was designed as a "where's de Wet" puzzle. By rearranging the five cards the general's face appears from amongst the foliage.

"Portrait de l'Insaisissable 'Dewet' obtenu par l'assemblage des cartes".

Two postcards from the "Le Musée de Sires" series, by French artist Auguste Roubille.

Published by: "Le Musée de Sires, Administration: Librairie Parisienne Arnaud et Cie., Editeurs, 19 Rue de Paradis, Paris".

1. THE GRACIOUS QUEEN.
2. SIR PAUL KRUGER.

"Roubille worked with anarchist publications, notably the illustrated weekly L’Assiette au Beurre, with which he was closely associated between 1901 and 1905. This allowed him to further his mission, within the bounds of political satire, of illuminating the injustices of state violence and the oppression of workers" (Stephen Ongpin Fine Art).
