Not strictly a postcard but an interesting postal envelope.



When troop numbers were beginning to mount in South Africa, in particular Pretoria and Capetown. George Bundricks and Company were encouraged to produce a pictorial souvenir envelope in May 1900. Sergeant F. A Stevenson of the Cape Garrison Artillery designed the format and several editions of the envelope were produced.

Another French set, this time by Frédillo.
This artist is best known for his erotica, and in particular a series of 24 engravings, titled "Fantaisies Parisiennes".
