Having done a bit more trawling, I have found this drawing and description of the locket (Ottawa Citizen, 6 Nov 1900).
As you will see, 180 of these were ordered at $8 each. Where are they all now?!

Well we know where at least 3 are located, just have to find 177 more...… Still a very good item..... Rosenthal's was bought out by Henry Birk's and Sons in 1945.....

Neville..... Yes it is a good one, the Town of Banff, Alberta, also gave out a locket as well but only one which now happens to be in the Glenbow Museum here in Calgary.....

What I consider my best or maybe second best Canadian piece is the following, also in a way from Toronto.....
