Jim,

There is so much in the catalogue that it will take a long time to peruse fully.

The vendor is very well known and a frequent poster on the forum. The catalogue's preface will tell you more.

Best wishes
David

An amazing range of medals. I have my eye on a number within my field of interest.
My missus caught me browsing this morning. I think this is going to cost me a very expensive handbag! Lol!

There is a news item about the auction in this month's Medal News which arrived today is a very timely way.

An absolutely jaw dropping auction offering. Truly something for every ABW collector. Excellent write ups for the actions, especially the small ones.

I've never bought from City Coins before and haven't bought from outside the EU for some years. Can any UK member please advise the UK customs tariff code applicable to imported antique medals that reduces the VAT liability from 20% to 5%?

I've already made a provisional list of items of interest but will have to be more than a bit ruthless when whittling it down to a bid list.

David.

Congratulations Henk, an object lesson in cataloguing, but no "hidden gems" - you are too thorough!

This will need re-reading a few times, already pencilled in two targets.

Can you tell me what the article by JW Wilson on the Armoured Train Disaster is please?
