It had to happen, I suppose, but it's the first time I've seen it. The current City Coins catalogue is now for sale on a South African online auction site!!

You have to hand it to the vendor - nothing like striking while the iron is hot!

Pierre Henri is quick off the mark. I see he has 9 for sale.

Strangely he asks that buyers 'must please be collectors of Boer War medals'.

He is only offering postage within SA aswell. No international shipping. You must arrange to have the catalogue forwarded from your own contact in SA.

I am quite happy with my digital version of the catalogue. My bids went in on Sunday, so now it is a wait and see till Monday or there about :)
