The KRRC did excellent work in Natal so I can fully understand that Brett.

The year is far from over but looking back, you have acquired some very nice items this year?

Thank you for your comments. I have been fortunate this year. For a while I thought that with age had come wisdom, but actually it was all good fortune by chance.

I must add that with age has come the realisation that it was wrong to put so many eggs in the South African Colonial basket. Perhaps that was due to thoughtlessly putting pleasure before profit. It has been a lot of fun.

This restoration project has just been advertised on eBay. 5698 Pte Toomey 2nd RDF is entitled to the clasps Tal, RoL & TH. He was wounded 27 Feb 00 and invalided Jul 00.
