I would only buy it if it could be had for a modest price, Charles Toomey was a 24 year old labourer from Kildare, it is a pity, it would have been a really nice medal if it was complete.

I can't find any WO 97 papers for him online but he was invalided to pension so there's a big file in series PIN 71 at the NA.

A nice QSA/KSA pair to Lt/Capt R Selby RAMC has just appeared on eBay, complete with the miniatures. I hadn't recorded these as being on the market in the past.

Sold for £455 any of our members make the winning bid?

I had not looked at these, but, if there are no issues, then the price paid was not expensive.

Sadly not but as Frank says the price paid was quite reasonable.
