OMG There are some fantastic pieces there......

Will have to go and buy a lotto ticket tonight and add the de la Rey group to my letter to Santa.....

But...... (the biggest word in the English language)

I am in the same spot as Brian..... No more pennies......

Yes, been a little busy having a peep at it! De la Ray group is very pricey, will take the Lotto on my way home :)

Lots to choose from but will have to watch the pennies this time round, just spoiled myself with a QSA/1906 Pair and a few POW groups (a passion of mine)....will post the pair soon.

Hello Brian,
I think that for anyone actually in South Africa it has the potential of being a great sale, I would aways have to buy at least four lots to make it worth my while, but, for you, a trip down to the Cape and items could be under the tree in time for Christmas day.
I always enjoy looking at the offerings as far as the old republics go and you really don't have to spend a kings ransom to end up with something really nice either.
Against all this, though, for South Africans, would be that once items end up in this catalogue, they will, in many cases, leave South African shores, often, I would suggest, never to return, moreover, it is, for me, merely another sale to add to the long list that we have throughout the year.
I hope that you find something really nice for your own collection Brian, the agony of choice, oh dear! :woohoo:
Kind regards Frank

Agreed, but, I always think that the republican offering Natalie puts into all her catalogues is good, they seldom turn up here these days.

Hello Frank,

I would really like those CP lots but with 6x 40m high Pine trees in the garden that need cutting and carting I will just have to give them a miss. However, I have my eye on two other more affordable lots which would fit in nicely with my WW1/WW2 collecting areas.
