The main lot was estimated, by a well known SA dealer, to go for £15k, but beat it a little, getting to over £44K!!

The Aliwal North TG and Komga DMT are listed at what my high bid was, so not sure about them. The East London TG is listed for a lot less, so I probably got that. I recently worked out I already have a Komga DMT though!

I actually bid on de la Ray then cancelled the bid. I needn't have worried as my R350,000 wasn't near the mark!

The Kimberly medal went for a decent GBP2,200, but still not the record paid at DNW a few years ago of GBP3,000!

Did not get a thing......

The main piece I was after was 302 and missed it by $25.00 Canadian......

The nicest thing about it is that it had the original design of the ribbon for the QSA that was to be used with the prototype medal.....

Appears I have had about a 50% strike rate. Fishing was very rewarding and under bidder on a few more.

I had a go at the Aliwal North TG and Komga DMT also and the bids are similar so I will be interested to see how it pans out. My bids were spread thru the single QSA's so if I don't win those I am certain to pick up some others.
