Not to worry, we can always make do with one of other many splendid properties dotted around the Cape Peninsula.

We don't want to attract to much attention upon ourselves !!

Brian, quite correct, they are already in Wales, a good test to look forward to on Saturday.

Adrian

I would think that it has been many many years since Zebra were last seen in Cape Town.

Frank,

Wonderful pictures.

You are making me homesick.

I love this part of Cape Town and believe it or not it hasn't changed much over the years, the trees/forest on the slopes of the mountain are still there although minus the Zebra.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Below is a photo of my connection with Cecil John Rhodes - the antlers of a Sambar Deer, which was part of the herd introduced by CJR to the Groote Schuur Estate. The antlers, which grace our study wall, are a reminder of our years in Cape Town and visits to the Rhodes Memorial.

PS Since this post is so "off topic", I expect David to remove it.

Hello Brett,
I've just worked out how we got to this point, it is because Brian used the word "recovered" and provoked me to respond!
Kind regards Frank

No sambar here, plenty of reds though!
