BayleyMelville Gordon2nd LieutenantHe died at St Leonard's, January 25th. 1901.  He was the son of Sir Stewart Colvin Bayley KCSI late Lieutenant-Governor, Bengal, of 8 Barkston Gardens, Kensington, was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, and entered the Royal Lancaster Regiment January 1900.  He accompanied his battalion to South Africa in February 1900; but after much service was invalided home and died.
